Circa £29,500 (Depending on Skills & Experience) Permanent 37 hours per week Full-time (flexible working available) Lincoln Keeping in-day performance on track – Join us as an In Day Performance Lead at Anglian Water The In Day Performance Lead is responsible for managing in-day and 48-hour performance of water and water recycling operations. You will monitor, assess, and escalate operational performance, ensuring risk- and performance-led decisions are made in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll oversee workflow management, support and develop despatchers through coaching and mentoring, and help drive improvements to service delivery. Working closely with internal teams, field managers, and tactical operations, you’ll ensure effective communication and a strong focus on health, safety and continuous improvement. What you’ll be doing Manage workflow and daily handovers to maintain control of operational performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), assess impact, and escalate risks to ensure compliance with Levels of Service (LOS). Provide training, coaching and mentoring to despatchers to build capability and confidence. Develop and implement service delivery improvements, using insight to inform decisions. Drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety, ensuring standards are upheld at all times. What does it take to be an In Day Performance Lead? Experience within operational despatch and/or water and water recycling operations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance information and make sound, risk-based decisions. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands in a time-critical environment. Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Teamworking mindset with proven mentoring or coaching capability.
