The Role: We are seeking a Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join a reputable Real Estate Finance Partner in central London.
This role offers the chance to work alongside a reputable partner and team, gaining valuable experience in real estate finance law.
The ideal candidate will have 6-12 months of experience as a property paralegal (residential or commercial).
This position is based in our central London office with a hybrid working arrangement.
Day-to-day Duties:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Supporting general administration and legal document drafting
* Using case management and filing systems effectively
* Assisting with file opening and financial management
* Taking instructions from fee earners and updating progress
* Interacting with clients under supervision
* Managing case timelines and deadlines
* Handling plot sale transactions for developers
* Managing ownership transfers and SDLT returns
* Conducting Land Registry searches and liaising with authorities
* Post-completion administration, including Companies House and Land Registry filings
* Monitoring and responding to emails
* Preparing lease reports and document summaries
* Scheduling title deeds and related documents
Your Skills and Experience:
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Diligence and strong work ethic
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
* Team player willing to assist colleagues
* Strong organizational skills and workload prioritization
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Legal degree or law conversion course completion
