Join Enable as a Personal Assistant at Riddrievale House. The role involves 38 hours per week and supports a range of adults in a short‑break respite setting. You will help people achieve their goals through personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support, and expand their social networks.
About Riddrievale House
This project provides short‑break respite for up to nine adults in a comfortable, relaxing environment. Residents enjoy day trips, themed nights, discos, and group outings, giving them the chance to experience enjoyable activities.
Responsibilities
* Assist individuals with personal care and daily living activities.
* Provide moving and handling support.
* Deliver positive behavioural support.
* Help expand personal assistants’ social networks and connections.
* Support residents during day‑to‑day care, group outings and themed activities.
Qualifications & Skills
* Commitment, dedication and a passion for supporting people with diverse needs.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine respect for the dignity of residents.
* Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
* Transferable skills from other sectors are welcomed; no prior care experience required.
