Responsibilities
:
1. Acts as first responders, helping to organize and control incident response.
2. Provides admission control for technical implementations
3. Day to day monitoring and management of our platforms to ensure that internal SLAs, operational KPIs and quality standards are met
4. Handlingplex technical support issues
5. Ability to support network faults, to conclusion in a multi vendor, multi-appliance infrastructure
6. Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve incidents and service requests
7. Day-to-day Technical Operations activities (including, but not limited to network and firewall troubleshooting, scripting changes, infrastructure and firmware updates)
8. Maintain a positive attitude and a high level of customer service at all times
9. Contribute to the overall development of the operational systems and processes
Skills & Experience:
Essential;
10. Extensive experience in a fast paced, enterprise NOC role (minimum L2/L3 experience)
11. Extensive experience of networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing though advanced knowledge of: R/S: OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, L2 architectures Multicast: PIM-SM, MSDP, AnyCastRP Security: Firewalling, ACLs, industry best practice, Internet architectures Load Balancing: F5 LB, iRules, persistence, etc. VPN: IPSec and SSL Wireless: standards, security, radio placement, etc.
12. Extensive experience of multiple network & firewall technologies, particularly Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5 and Aruba Networks
13. Understanding/experience with ISO and ITIL standards
14. CCNP certification ( or working experience to this level )
