Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking for a role where you can work independently and make a real impact? Our well-established and friendly conveyancing firm based in Pudsey is looking for a reliable and proactive Legal Cashier to join the team.
This is a standalone position, ideal for someone confident in managing all aspects of legal cashiering within a conveyancing environment. You'll be working closely with solicitors and support staff, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and full compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR).
Key Responsibilities:
Managing client and office accounts
Daily banking and reconciliations
Processing invoices, payments, and BACS transfers
Ensuring compliance with SAR and other regulatory requirements
Supporting month-end and year-end accounts
Liaising with fee earners and external bodies as needed
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Legal Cashier (ideally in conveyancing)
Strong understanding of SAR and legal accounting procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Experience with legal accounting software (e.g. LEAP, SOS, or similar) is a plus
