LOCATION: MCARTHUR GLEN - CHESHIRE OAKS SHIFT PATTERN: 3 Week Rolling, 42 hours per week PAY RATE: £13.10 per hour We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer‑focused Security Officer to join our established security team at Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, the UK’s largest open‑air retail destination, welcoming more than 8 million visitors each year. This is a dynamic and people‑focused role, ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and take pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and secure atmosphere. You will act as a highly visible presence across the centre, supporting retailers, visitors, and stakeholders while upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and customer service. Role Responsibilities As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets while delivering a professional and approachable service at all times. Duties include, but are not limited to: Controlling access and egress points in line with site procedures Maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment through regular patrols and checks Delivering a consistently high level of customer service to visitors, tenants, and stakeholders Responding effectively to incidents, including medical situations, theft, lost or vulnerable persons, and public safety concerns Acting in accordance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols Providing a visible security presence across the centre to deter crime and support smooth operations Working collaboratively as part of a large on‑site security team to ensure effective communication and operational efficiency Candidate Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a strong commitment to safety and service excellence.
