Salary: £46k - £48k

Grafton Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a well-established organisation in their search for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (OHA). This is a great opportunity to support the prevention of work-related illness and injury by providing proactive robust clinical advice and recommendations to the company.
THE ROLE:
Some of your responsibilities as an Occupational Health Advisor:
* You will provide comprehensive occupational health support to the company, including overseeing the health surveillance programme to ensure that all legal and mandatory compliance requirements are adhered to.
* Complete fitness for work Health Assessments for new starters.
* Support the Occupational Health Manager and deputise as necessary.
* Ensure that clinical records are completed in accordance with the Nursing & Midwifery Council's (NMC) guidelines on medical confidentiality.
* Promote health and wellbeing by delivering presentations and training sessions.
* Attend regular meetings with HR and operational managers to provide an overview of occupational health activities and updates on employee health issues, including absence cases.
* To provide management with robust clinical advice and recommendations in relation to the employee's health.
THE CANDIDATE:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Occupational Health Advisor with the following qualifications:
* NMC Level One registration
* Relevant OH Diploma or Degree
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Ability to work cross-functionally, influencing and collaborating with various teams.
* To support the Union in understanding the role and purpose of Occupational Health.
* SCPHN - Preferable
