We lead, mentor and develop our IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, service excellence and continuous improvement. We coach and develop rising talent within our IT team, supporting succession planning and career development. We act as a trusted strategic business partner to all departments, identifying technology, digital and data solutions that improve operations and unlock efficiencies. We lead and govern enterprise architecture, defining principles, standards, design authority and decision-making processes. We own and continuously rationalise our application portfolio to reduce duplication, technical debt and unsupported solutions. We establish and maintain effective architecture governance across a decentralised application landscape. We ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of technology programmes and technology elements of wider transformation initiatives. We provide leadership of IT operations and end-user support services, ensuring stable, secure and high-quality services. We lead our cyber security strategy and operations, ensuring robust controls, governance and risk management. We oversee our data, integration and analytics capabilities, ensuring data is governed, accurate, accessible, secure and effectively integrated. We build strong partnerships with business leaders to define technology ownership, process design, change adoption and benefit realisation. We define and enforce technology standards covering application selection, solution design, integration, cyber security, data management, resilience, support models and lifecycle planning. We drive the adoption of automation and AI technologies where appropriate to improve efficiency, insight, customer experience and service reliability.
