Description
* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
* Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
* Reconcile accounts and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end processes.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support business objectives.
* Prepare reports for senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
* Support audits and ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Maintain accurate financial records and improve existing accounting processes where necessary.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A professional qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of management reporting.
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support business decision-making.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across the organisation.
