Due to continued growth and development, WRC is looking for a Key Account Manager to manage WRC’s portfolio of large accounts whilst also formulating new business opportunities in the commercial sector and driving forward WRC’s ambitious sales strategy.

Role Description
Our Key Account Manager role is a full-time, permanent position. Daily tasks include:
Actively generating new business leads within an array of sectors
Managing a prospects lists and working alongside the new business team to ensure successful mobilisation of key contracts.
Working with the Sales team to consistently drive the Sales strategy forward
Account Managing a portfolio of Commercial customers to ensure service success
Leading quarterly, bi-annual, and annual contract review meetings
Driving revenue growth within accounts
Providing prompt and well-informed resolution solutions to a customer portfolio
Booking on jobs and taking payments when required
Be the primary interface between WRC Recycling and the commercial market
Actively listen and provide customers with the best waste management solutions
Reaching company and personal sales targets
Gathering market information and opportunities
Provide accurate calculations and quotes to customers
Closing sales successfully
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
Proven track record of consistently meeting targets
Experience managing large accounts
Waste or construction industry experience is essential
A strong commercial background and awareness
The ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Robust and resilient
Outstanding customer service skills
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Outlook)
