Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is searching for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:
1. Development and review of management systems and documents.
2. Support the Quality Manager with daily Quality Assurance activities.
3. Manage Non-Conformance Reports, ensuring effective corrective actions.
4. Assist with Corrective Action Requests and Root Cause Analysis.
5. Manage technical files and specifications communications.
6. Record site reworks and product orders.
7. Promote QESH principles and Customer Focus.
8. Ensure closure of quality actions.
9. Support the QESH team activities.
10. Travel as required.
Audits & Reporting:
1. Conduct and host external audits.
2. Complete reports for supplier visits.
Key Performance Indicators:
1. Complete audits within one week of due date and close out timely.
2. Complete tasks as scheduled.
3. Resolve non-conformance reports effectively and on time.
Job Requirements:
1. Experience as a systems-based Quality Engineer in manufacturing.
2. Process development and improvement experience.
3. Experience with 3rd party audits.
4. Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean).
5. Optional: CSCS, SMSTS or SSSTS certifications.
6. Optional: Formal engineering qualification.
7. ISO9001 internal auditor or lead auditor certification is advantageous.
8. Knowledge of 8D, 5Y, and ISO standards.
9. Flexible, adaptable, and reliable.
10. Proficient in Office 365 applications.
