The Role
As a Senior Design Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of engineering components and assemblies from concept through to production, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams.
You will:
* Design innovative engineering components and assemblies to customer specifications
* Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings
* Develop new product concepts and engineering solutions
* Improve existing products and manufacturing processes
* Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards
* Present concepts and final designs to customers and stakeholders
* Support and mentor junior engineers within the design team
* Work closely with mechanical and project teams to deliver high‑quality solutions on time and within budget
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Senior Design Engineer or experienced Design Engineer ready to step up
* Strong mechanical design and product development background
* Solid understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles
* Experience with 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX or similar)
* Experience working with PLM systems such as Teamcentre
* Good understanding of engineering safety and compliance standards
* Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification
* SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it
* Strong communication and leadership skills
