This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties. Due to the nature of the role and local travel requirements, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: - Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs - Support students with EHCPs to access learning and daily routines - Build positive relationships that encourage emotional wellbeing and confidence - Assist pupils with behaviour regulation and social development - Adapt classroom activities and resources under teacher guidance - Encourage communication, independence, and engagement in learning - Support pupils both inside and outside of the classroom environment - Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and senior staff - Help maintain a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment Your support will play an important role in helping pupils achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.
