What we are looking for We are currently seeking a Senior Sales and Planning Manager EAA t o manage and lead the team to pro-actively sell & plan all Conference & Events products by maximizing business from both new and existing customers, based in our offices at the racecourse in Ascot, Berkshire. What you’ll be doing Lead and inspire the team to over-achieve quarterly and annual sales targets Ensure the planners plan and create function sheets in line with client expectations to the expected levels of service Ensure that all internal stakeholders are clear on all events taking place, in a timely manner, with the correct information to hand Ensure full compliance of all processes within the client sales journey, event planning, delivery and post event, ensuring clear communication with both client and internal stakeholders To ensure effective cross selling across the wider commercial team Oversee delivery of sales from new business and existing business revenue sources. Ensure a strong sales pipeline is created, managed and maintained with our CRM system Demonstrate budget management and ensure agreed profit margins are delivered on all events Report regularly on agreed sales and KPIs to Head of Sales Drive strategy development, budgeting and resourcing of team Manage clear and effective working processes and CRM use Work with Head of Sales to identify new revenue streams across all sales channels Be aware of competitor pricing, understand the dynamics of the local market and the demand generators, and the effect this has on profit Manage and develop the Sales & Planning Team through effective leadership, delegation, coaching and mentoring Manage & strengthen the internal stakeholders relationship with EAA, notably Operations, Logistics and Catering Evolve and develop the Sales Engine & Planning processes over time by accurately capturing and reflecting observed behaviours, processes and activities that prove to be successful at Ascot Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting for sales team, streamlining processes for both sales and planning teams and systems wherever possible, and advising Head of Sales on maximising business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.
