Job Description:
The Sales Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation talent for Emerson's Test & Measurement Business Unit as we expand our onboarding into Global Sales & Marketing. In this role, your coaching will help shape the trajectory of our new college graduates as you instill sales and technical best practices. Your investment will shape the culture of high-performing, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial engineers and create an environment where a diverse set of high achievers can thrive.

The successful candidate will inspire new engineers and build the team skillsets needed to exceed goals and maintain engagement across all phases of the program.
Responsibilities:
1. Coaching and mentorship; providing an ongoing coaching cadence to the SDE team to refine skills and achieve targets.
2. Fostering a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging team members to share best practices and grow professionally.
3. Enabling connection to the larger NI organization including sales, FAE, customer operations, field marketing.
4. Supporting the creation and implementation of individual business plans aligned with the region’s Account Plans.
5. Facilitating technical growth around product, solution, and business units.
6. Maintaining productive collaboration with the marketing organization regarding lead performance and improvements.
7. Self-starting; ideating and creating process improvements for business acceleration, knowledge sharing, SDE engagement, or other enhancements.
8. Building trust with employees and supporting career development for the next step after SDE.
9. Building university relationships, identifying new SDEs, and hiring top talent for Emerson's Test & Measurement Business Unit.

Requirements:
* Successful sales or sales management experience in test and measurement, with impact in Field Sales, Inside Sales, or Business Development (typically + years).
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with new college graduates is preferred.
