Business Development Recruitment Consultant (Contract Desks)
Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week in our London office

At Focus Cloud Group, we don’t do generalist recruitment. We’re 100% dedicated to cloud technology, working with leading global vendors including Workday, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft, ServiceNow, and Dayforce.
With deep roots in the contract market and a high-performing delivery function already in place, we’re now looking for a Business Development Consultant to take ownership of client acquisition and contract revenue growth across key cloud verticals.
This is a commercial, client-facing role with warm opportunities available — but your focus will be on creating new ones.

What you’ll be doing
Your role is to win new business and grow contract revenue across our cloud tech markets. You’ll focus on identifying hiring demand, securing client relationships and generating contract requirements that feed into our delivery engine.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Securing new client relationships across ERP, HCM and enterprise software markets
* Running structured outreach campaigns to open new accounts
* Qualifying contract hiring needs and working with delivery to fill roles at pace
* Expanding client accounts and building ongoing contract pipelines
* Tracking market demand and advising clients on the contractor landscape
* Working with internal stakeholders to refine value propositions and service delivery
What you’ll need to bring
* A strong background in contract recruitment or B2B sales
* Proven success in generating new business and winning accounts
* Experience working with tech clients or understanding of cloud ecosystems
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders
* Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-output environment
* A proactive and commercially driven mindset with an eye on margin and speed
