Duties Include:
– Prepare and cut meat products according to customer specifications
– Operate and maintain butchering equipment, such as knives, saws, and grinders
– Ensure proper storage and handling of meat products to maintain freshness and quality
– Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of meat preparation
– Assist with inventory management and ordering of meat products
– Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations
Experience Required:
– Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role preferred
– Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
– Familiarity with food production processes and industry standards
– Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in meat cutting and portioning
– Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
