About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and versatile Chartered Structural Engineer with a passion for heritage works. If you are already CARE accredited or keen to achieve this, you may take up the mantle of leading the Heritage Team at a medium sized, well‑established design consultancy based in Sevenoaks. The team is highly professional, has a loyal client base and already has two CARE Accredited Structural Engineers. They are very busy and expanding, and you will be working on specialist conservation and refurbishment projects across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a small heritage engineering team on specialist conservation and refurbishment projects.
* Provide expert technical advice on heritage works, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practice.
* Prepare detailed design studies, reports and drawings, and support business development activities.
Qualifications
* Open and Chartered Structural Engineer with strong heritage project experience.
* Excellent communication and sketching skills.
* Ability to manage a small team.
* Requirements to be eligible to work in the UK.
