Freelance Business Development Consultant

Location: Chester
Remuneration: Commission-based (no retainer) with generous rewards for recruitment candidate placements.

As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Freelance Business Development Consultant to partner with us in identifying and securing new recruitment opportunities across the UK.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting, fully flexible freelance role ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and developing new business. You’ll play a key role in expanding Fairmont Crest’s client base by generating confirmed recruitment programmes — opportunities that allow us to place high-calibre candidates with exceptional organisations. Commission is paid upon candidate placements.

You’ll have the freedom to work independently, leveraging your network and business acumen to open doors, build credibility, and deliver tangible results.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Identifying and engaging with businesses across the UK to explore recruitment partnership opportunities.

* Building relationships with decision-makers at senior, director, and C-suite levels.

* Promoting Fairmont Crest’s bespoke recruitment and HR solutions.

* Securing confirmed recruitment opportunities that lead to candidate placements.

* Collaborating closely with Fairmont Crest’s leadership team to ensure seamless handover and client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in business development, recruitment, executive search, or consultancy. You will not be doing the actual recruitment; this will be our role.

* Strong network and confidence engaging with senior leaders and decision-makers.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

* Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute.

* Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
