We're working with a long-established and highly respected manufacturer supplying specialist chemical products globally.
They are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager to take ownership of the E&I function on-site, leading a skilled team and playing a key role in both maintenance and project delivery within a COMAH-regulated environment.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position with real influence across the plant. You'll be responsible for:
* Leading and developing a team of 14 E&I engineers
* Overseeing all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities
* Delivering capital and improvement projects (design through to installation)
* Managing budgets and external contractors
* Driving a strong safety culture in a hazardous area environment
* Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external bodies (e.g. HSE)
What We're Looking For
* Background in Instrumentation & Control within a process environment
* Experience in a COMAH / hazardous area / chemical / similar industry
* Strong working knowledge of PLC/HMI systems (ideally Allen-Bradley / Rockwell)
* Understanding of ATEX and functional safety
* Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant environment
