The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for handling Warranty and Serviceplan claims for multiple automotive manufacturers via our online claims portal. You will communicate directly with our client’s retailer network, supporting the warranty claims process from start to finish. Using your technical expertise, you will approve or decline claims based on received information and warranty policy terms. You will respond to inbound and outbound calls from retailers, customers, and internal teams to provide technical support and ensure smooth claim management.

* Bonus: £1,545 performance bonus
* Start Date: June/July
* Hours: 37.5 hours/week, shifts between 9 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
1. Ensure warranty claims meet the terms of the Approved Used Warranty programme.
2. Manage claims proactively, ensuring timely and cost-effective customer service.
3. Monitor claims to ensure timely service delivery and communication with customers.
4. Handle calls politely and efficiently.
5. Ensure retailers follow claims procedures and self-authority limits.
6. Identify and initiate recoveries from third parties.
7. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of automotive brands.
8. Share technical updates with colleagues.
9. Handle complaints within FCA guidelines.
10. Manage complaints within authority limits and provide reports as needed.
About You
* Strong understanding of motor vehicle technology, with qualifications equivalent to City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Technician.
* Knowledge of motor vehicle warranty and technical expertise.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and online systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Interpersonal skills to engage with retailers, clients, and customers.
* Experience in warranty departments is advantageous.
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Maths.
