A bit about the job:
Aligned to our Executive Reward team, your role will focus on three key areas. First, managing your own complex caseload for senior colleagues (up to Group Executive Committee level), including package calculations, benchmarking, and managing buyouts/guarantees. Second, leading preparations for the Aviva Group Remuneration Committee, such as drafting papers, updating statuses, and coordinating meetings. Third, working on various Reward projects like annual reviews, reporting, and analysis.
Aviva promotes flexible working with our "smart-working" policy introduced in 2020; however, the successful candidate should be based within commuting distance of York, Bristol, Norwich, or London offices.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Previous or current experience in Reward or C&B roles, eager to develop further in Executive Reward.
* Experience working in large corporate/matrix environments like Aviva or within Financial Services.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with up to ExCo level.
* Strong numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and IT literacy.
What you’ll get for this role:
* Competitive salary: c.£50,000 nationally, c.£65,000 in London, based on experience and qualifications.
