As a Mental Health Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
1. Work as part of and lead the Mental Health team within the Integrated Healthcare Services team.
2. Provide clinical leadership and management to Registered nurses and allied health professionals.
3. Establish inter-agency working where necessary to ensure good communication and increase quality of care for patients.
4. Ensure that your own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
5. Based on the Wellbeing Approach and Practice Plus mental Health policy, provide nursing triage, screening, and assessment.
6. Actively participate in the development of local operating procedures to ensure clear pathways for clinicians.
7. Ensure all complaints and concerns related to Mental Health are dealt with promptly.
8. Lead treatment or care within mental health as a nurse.
9. Manage waiting lists effectively to ensure minimal waiting times for patients.
10. Provide medicines management and advice, including supporting medicine administration.

Requirements include:
* Registered Mental Health Nurse - NMC registration.
* BSc or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in providing supervision.
* Teaching and mentoring experience and/or qualification.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development to maintain up-to-date knowledge and competence.
Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.

This role is based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. After probation, we can consider a 37.5-hour schedule over 4 days. The position requires 1 in 4 weekends per month, with an annual salary up to £42,094 - £47,466 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
