About The Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing engaging content that is visually appealing, customer-focused, and drives commercial performance.
The role takes direction from the Marketing Content Manager to produce content across various mediums. You will work closely with internal teams and creative resources to ensure message consistency in the content produced.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing customer-focused creative by understanding product points of difference and highlighting key features for each marketing channel.
* Creating compelling marketing content such as digital assets for emails, social media, brand ads, videos, print materials, retail POS, or packaging.
* Managing your workload to meet deadlines, working within the creative content critical path.
* Evaluating, amending, and signing off content from external agencies, maintaining good relationships and working within the framework set by the Senior Brand Lead.
* Ensuring visual and tonal consistency by adhering to Lakeland brand guidelines.
* Supporting digital performance through mobile-first design, testing creative concepts.
* Assisting the Marketing Content Manager in prioritizing content requests to ensure timely and effective delivery.
About You
You are a natural designer capable of creating emotive, engaging, error-free content under tight deadlines.
You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with colleagues and agencies.
You have a high attention to detail, a creative eye, and the ability to identify errors others might miss.
You are commercially savvy, able to judge which creative decisions will add value and enhance customer engagement and sales.
You can manage your time and external support efficiently, working under strict deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
Being a team player who collaborates well and is open to feedback is essential.
* Experience in designing and content production, preferably B2C and in multichannel online businesses.
* Experience with digital and mobile-first design approaches.
* Proficiency in designing and working within brand guidelines.
* Experience in digital artwork, layout, retouching, and typography.
* Experience briefing, developing, and approving agency artwork.
* Advanced skills in design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and video editing tools.
* Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
