London Borough of Sutton are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Safeguarding Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Safeguarding Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Safeguarding Social Worker responsibilities include:
1. Devising packages of care
2. Keeping accurate records
3. Managing a case load of Adults
4. Undertaking assessments of care needs
5. Dealing with safeguarding enquires
6. Attending multi-disciplinary meetings
7. Completing Best Interest Assessments
8. Care management
9. Co-ordinating, monitoring and reviewing care plans and service standards
Experience required / Minimum Requirements:
10. Post qualifying experience of working as a Safeguarding Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry.
11. SWE Registration
12. 1 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
13. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
14. Eligibility to work in the UK
