Job Summary
Commercial, people‑first leader to operate one of our large‑format Donation Centres (roughly 8,000 sq ft) handling up to 10 tonnes of donated goods a week within The Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL). You will generate and manage stock, lead a predominantly volunteer team, build community relationships, and drive commercial performance.
Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day operations and financial performance of the donation centre
* Recruit, coach and retain a bank of volunteers for sorting, repair and up‑cycling tasks
* Build and nurture local partnerships with businesses, Salvation Army Corps and individuals to secure donations and volunteer skills
* Use social media and creative promotions to attract supporters and increase footfall
* Lead a diverse team, inspiring motivation and creating a positive workplace culture
* Ensure high‑quality service for donors, customers and the wider community
