Job Title: Principal Electromagnetics Engineer

Salary: £48,300+ Depending on skillset
What you’ll be doing:
1. Be a recognised technical specialist in the field of Microwave Electronics with relevant experience supporting all aspects of the Microwave Materials business.
2. Support the development of new technologies and opportunities to help grow the business in line with ambitious growth plans.
3. Maintain and develop the capability of Electromagnetic test & measurement facilities for the Microwave Materials business in line with strategic requirements.
4. Collaborate with other ATS specialists to provide expertise and support to key programmes.
5. Build relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery and identify new business opportunities aligned with ATS strategy.
6. Take responsibility for development projects involving design and manufacturing capabilities for LO and conformal antennas.
Your skills and experiences:
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline with proven experience.
* Strong understanding of Microwave Electronics, electromagnetic theory, and principles.
* Electromagnetic simulation experience, including antenna design, is desirable.
* Knowledge of recognised industry standards and techniques for Microwave measurement, including Radar Cross Section and free space parameters.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Membership of a recognised technical body, ideally with Chartered status, or working towards it.
