College Community Support Officer (CCSO)
Location: Northbrook (Shoreham) Campus, part of the Chichester College group.

Salary: Pro rata of £27,785 - £30,364 per annum (i.e. £18,715.88 - £20,453.10). 30 hours per week, 36 weeks per year.
We are looking for a charismatic, determined and confident person who can engage hard-to-reach groups and disengaged students, develop and coordinate activities that promote social cohesion and integration. This high-profile role will be part of the College Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team.
Responsibilities
* Act as Safeguarding Officer for assigned cases, liaising with the Safeguarding team, gathering evidence in relation to incidents and disclosures as per the Safeguarding policy.
* Cooperate with Nurses, Counsellors and Support staff to ensure all learners have a safe and secure environment.
Qualifications
* GCSE maths and English Language, or equivalent at C/4 grade or above.
* Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject area: Coaching, Health and Social Care, Youth Work.
* Experience working with young people (including 14-19-year-olds), vulnerable adults, and those with challenging behaviour.
