HOLKER are currently looking to recruit, a determined and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding technical team. As an MSP we support many clients in various markets, each with bespoke configurations. Our customers rely on us 24/7 and we always deliver against our customer promise.

As a member of our team, we will provide an ongoing training programme to sharpen your skills and keep them current.


Duties to include but not restricted to

* Provide proactive and strategic IT support to allocated clients, addressing all their IT needs and consulting with Senior Leadership Teams (SLT) for improvement.
* Develop and produce strategic IT plans tailored to client requirements.
* Install and maintain client IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
* Maintain and develop excellent client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Handle technical IT support incidents and requests efficiently and effectively.
* Liaise with multiple contacts across different departments on-site to ensure seamless IT operations.
* Maintaining agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), updating ticket information as you work from diagnostics through to resolution
* Liaise with third parties and vendors to resolve incidents with root cause analysis
* Perform Incident Management & reporting on complex / large scale issues
* Providing strong server and desktop support across our customer networks
* Keeping clients updated as to the progress of their request / issue status
* Maintaining agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), updating ticket information as you work from diagnostics through to resolution
* Liaise with third parties and vendors to resolve incidents with root cause analysis
* Perform Incident Management & reporting on complex / large scale issues
* Assist with mentoring colleagues in line with escalation procedures.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Ability to respond to customers under SLA and work under pressure
* Client focused
* Possesses significant knowledge of client / server and Internet systems architectures
* Excellent commercial / technical knowledge and experience
* Strong background in consulting and MSP support, ideally with field experience.
* Experience in the corporate or education sector.
* Ability to prioritise incidents and manage expectations among clients’ management teams.


Technical knowledge of

* Microsoft 365
* Google Workspace
* Cloud Print Managed solutions such as PaperCut
* WDS, MDT, or other imaging tools (both creating and deploying images)
* 2-3 years’ experience of a support desk environment, ideally with in an MSP
* Microsoft Cloud technologies – eg. Azure, Microsoft 365, Defender for Endpoint
* Network software including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP protocols
* Back up and replication technologies (Veeam is highly advantageous)
* Desktop as Service such as Microsoft Remote Desktop, VMware Horizon, Azure AVH
* VMware & Hyper-V In depth troubleshooting
* Onsite Experience

Location

Based out of our Burnley office and traveling to customers in the Blackpool Area

40 Hours
