Band 5 NHS AFC £31,049 - £37,796 per annum Full time - 37.5hrs per week (Fixed term 1 year) Based at Crawley HQ (with travel across the Trust) An exciting opportunity to join a busy NHS Ambulance Service in our Finance Team as an Assistant Management Accountant to provide specialist finance and business advice, guidance and support to a range of Operations Managers and clinicians, assisting the Finance team in delivering a robust operational and financial management whilst improving cost effectiveness. The post holder will ensure the provision of an accurate and timely finance and management accounting information service to senior Finance managers. Provision of a finance information service to budget holders and maintenance of the Trust’s budgetary systems. The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Finance Business Associates in providing financial support to the senior Finance team and budget holders to achieve financial control and effective budget management and to facilitate the delivery of the Trust’s financial targets. Essential Criteria Certificate level of recognised CCAB body or equivalent (eg: AAT Qualified) or educated to degree level in a relevant specialism Working with either Surrey ICB or Surrey and Heartlands ICB or Secamb Sound, demonstrable knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
