About the Role:
TeacherActive is partnering with a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in Bristol, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This full-time position supports students across Key Stages 3 and 4, starting as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide in-class support to help students access the curriculum.
2. Work 1:1 or with small groups to deliver targeted interventions.
3. Support students with additional learning, emotional, or behavioral needs.
4. Assist teachers with classroom management and resource preparation.
5. Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting.
2. Patience, adaptability, and encouragement.
3. Passion for education and student success.
4. Confidence in supporting pupils needing additional guidance.
5. Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
