Class 1 Driver
Here at HireGiant, we are looking for a Class 1 Driver with curtain side or box trailer experience to work with one of our well-established clients in Belper for ongoing day work.
This particular company is well known across the UK, having been established in the area for many years. They focus on mainlyFreight forwarding, storage, and LGV haulage work across the UK.
The Class 1 Driver Role:
The HGV1 driver will be required to work Monday to Friday. The work starts immediately and involves collections and deliveries of general haulage. While using the Class One HGV, you must ensure care is taken with the wagon. Any defect must be reported, as the fleet is relatively new. Your role on the road will be a mixture of collections and A to B deliveries. Handball is minimal to none, but you must ensure the contents of the wagon are secure before transit. All paperwork must be in good order to ensure company procedures are adhered to.
