You will develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors and identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as theBuyer / Purchaser will include:Responding to Site communications (email and calls and in-person) regarding products/services required in a time efficient mannerEnsuring all purchased items meet project schedules and working with the team to determine action for overdue materialsSource and purchase materials, tools, equipment, plantDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliersMonitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunitiesCollaborate with project managers to understand material requirements and specificationsSupport the development of the sustainability and social impact agenda, proactively engaging the supply chain for innovations and new sustainable products or technologies and keeping detailed reports on sustainable outputs i.e.
