Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to residents in a care home environment, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
Duties
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Support residents in following their individual care plans, ensuring that their specific needs are met.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' health or behaviour to the relevant professionals.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is delivered effectively.
* Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the care home environment at all times.
* Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as required.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
* A good command of English is necessary for effective communication with residents and team members.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
* Basic IT skills to manage documentation and communicate effectively within the team.
