Investor–State Arbitration Lawyer (2-6 PQE) London
A leading international law firm is looking to hire a 2–6 PQE associate to join its London disputes practice, with a focus on investor–state treaty work.
The team advises sovereign states, state-owned entities and multinational investors on complex, high-value disputes under bilateral and multilateral investment treaties. The work includes ICSID and UNCITRAL arbitrations, jurisdictional challenges, quantum issues, and enforcement strategy, often working alongside public international law and commercial arbitration specialists.
This role would suit a UK-qualified associate with solid experience in investor–state arbitration.
Candidates should be comfortable handling drafting, research and procedural strategy on active matters, and confident operating in lean, cross-border teams. Exposure to treaty interpretation, public international law principles and damages analysis will be viewed positively.
The platform offers genuine responsibility, international exposure and the opportunity to work on politically sensitive, high-profile disputes.
If you are a UK-qualified associate (2–6 PQE) with investor–state treaty experience and would like a confidential discussion, please contact Raj Sidhu.
