Key responsibilities
Greenholm School is an independent, specialist day school that joined the Witherslack Group in 2022. Located in South West London, the school provides high-quality education for pupils with autism and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues, and associated behavioural challenges. The school was recently ratedGoodby Ofsted and continues to build on its strong foundation of inclusive, therapeutic education.
The school is part of a wider network of specialist schools and children’s homes where clinicians are central to one of the most integrated models in SEND. The young people supported by the client often present with a complexity of need, including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and special educational needs.
As a key member of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting both educational and residential colleagues in creating therapeutic living and learning environments. Your responsibilities will include conducting clinical assessments and developing personalised care plans tailored to each young person’s needs. You will deliver individualised therapeutic interventions and assess mental health needs, recommending appropriate strategies and support through carefully considered care planning. Building strong rapport with the young people is essential, as it enables you to provide effective counselling and meaningful feedback on their progress.

* Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
* Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs

* Be a confident, engaging and effective, model, guide, leader and trainer.
