We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on a locum basis. About the Role: As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Locum, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting with a variety of acute and chronic conditions. You will work autonomously, utilising your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: * Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic conditions, following established protocols and guidelines. * Prescribe medications within your scope of practice and in accordance with relevant legislation. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and ECGs. * Develop and implement individualised patient care plans. * Provide health promotion and disease prevention advice to patients. * Make referrals to specialist services as required. * Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with organisational policies. * Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team. * Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and service improvement initiatives. * Keep up-to-date with current evidence-based practice and guidelines
