Join Our Team as a Finance Business Partner!
Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of finance? We are looking for a dynamic Finance Business Partner to join our team at Sysco GB! Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner FP&A, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our commercial team, bringing together forecasts, reporting, and analysis for our Executive and International finance teams.
As a self-starter with a knack for effective business partnership, you will dive deep into the details when necessary. Your role will involve partnering with finance and business leaders across various teams to provide valuable guidance and insights. You’ll liaise with teams throughout the organization to understand variances in key performance measures and manage processes and data flows.
Working Conditions
We offer a hybrid working contract, allowing you to spend most of your time working from home. However, you will need to attend our office in Ashford, Kent once a week, so flexibility with travel and commuting for project and team meetings is essential.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Collate and sense-check daily metrics, weekly flash results, monthly performance, and forecasting for informed decision-making.
* Distribute performance packs that provide a single version of the truth to business units, covering relevant measures and metrics.
* Partner with business units to understand key business drivers and variances, pulling analysis to support your insights.
* Conduct month-end activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
* Submit required financial and non-financial information to the Executive team, acting as the main liaison with the business.
* Oversee continuous improvement in data quality, shifting focus from data collection to insightful analysis.
* Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that enhance the organization’s profitability.
About You
You are a newly qualified professional (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or a passed finalist, with experience in FP&A activities being a plus. We seek someone who confidently engages with stakeholders at all levels, challenges decisions constructively, and offers solutions to problems, always aiming for the best outcomes.
With your finance knowledge and experience, you will provide essential services and partner closely with the team on risk and continuous improvement. You must be able to hold strong conversations backed by sound analytical insights. A high level of competency in financial analysis and modeling is essential, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Familiarity with SAP or Workday is advantageous.
