Engineering Manager - ED Glasgow JR012761 Finance Technology is responsible for all of the technology solutions that support the Finance division of the firm, including systems that support PnL, Capital, Liquidity, Regulatory and Balance Sheet, across all regions and areas of the firm. Primary Skills & Responsibilities Engineering Manager / Engineer (ED-level) helping to lead the Glasgow Finance Technology team, as well as hands-on development on a number of systems, including new GenAI-driven systems. Deep hands-on development expertise in a financial services environment - Leadership in the Finance tech space in the Glasgow office, covering multiple squads and areas including Liquidity, Capital, Balance Sheet and Regulatory Technology. Hands on development on a new Generative AI system for Finance, including: - Design and develop a generative AI-driven chatbot tailored to core finance analytical functions, ensuring it can effectively handle user queries related to any finance-related topic, e.g. liquidity stress testing, balance sheet, collateral management, deposits, positions, etc. Develop and enhance an agentic analysis solution, for performing multi-step financial analysis and processing, including data querying, variance analysis, data quality analysis, python/pandas code generation and execution Develop and refine a testing framework to assess the performance of AI agents for financial analysis Create, test, and fine-tune prompt-generation strategies to improve the performance of large language models and enhance the chatbot's accuracy and relevance in financial contexts. Develop and maintain the underlying infrastructure necessary for deploying and scaling the chatbot, building on the firm’s AI infrastructure and services, ensuring it meets performance and security requirements. Integrate the chatbot with existing financial systems and databases to provide real-time insights and accurate information to users.
