Hours: 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Construction Engineering team, ensuring the delivery of safe and buildable solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Agreeing on technical requirements with clients and leading the development of fee proposals
* Organizing and overseeing the workload of engineers and technical staff
* Providing leadership and support to your team, ensuring compliance with company policies
* Producing design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, and risk assessments
* Delivering alternative solutions and value engineering to enhance Kier's competitive edge
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You are an Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., IEng MICE) with significant practical experience in a design consultancy
* You hold a full driving license to visit offices and construction sites
