We are supporting a growing division of a larger listed UK group in the appointment of a Divisional Finance Director. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with full ownership of a UK business unit operating across multiple sites.
The role offers significant autonomy and exposure, working closely with an experienced Managing Director and leading the finance agenda for a business focused on revenue growth, margin improvement and commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Full P&L ownership for the division, including budgeting, forecasting and performance management
Act as a trusted commercial partner to the MD, Sales and Operations leadership
Lead pricing, margin analysis and contract review to support profitable growth
Provide clear financial insight to support investment decisions and operational planning
Oversee financial control, reporting and governance, supported by an established finance team
Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems and financial discipline
Support the integration and development of the business within a wider group structure
About You 10-15 years’ experience across industry, ideally within a divisional role
Strong commercial finance capability, with experience influencing pricing, margins and growth initiatives
Comfortable operating in a B2B services or contract-led environment
Hands-on, pragmatic finance leader with the credibility to operate as a true number two to the MD
Based within reasonable commuting distance of Milton Keynes and happy with a regular on-site presence
