We’re supporting a large organisation undergoing significant People transformation, and are looking for an experienced People Programme Manager to work directly with the Chief People Officer.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll bring structure, governance, and momentum to a broad portfolio of People initiatives. You’ll be responsible for shaping and driving a coherent People Plan, aligning multiple workstreams and ensuring successful delivery across the function.
The Role
* We’re looking for a People Programme Manager to support the Chief People Officer in delivering a broad People transformation agenda.
* You’ll bring structure and oversight to multiple initiatives, shaping a clear People Plan across areas such as modern working, performance management, EVP, and job levelling.
* This is a hands-on role, where you’ll:
* Align multiple projects into a coherent programme
* Own governance, RAID, and reporting
* Run a monthly People Programme Board
* Support SMEs delivering key People initiatives
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in HR / People transformation programme delivery
* Strong governance and PMO capability
* Exposure to areas such as modern working, performance, EVP or job architecture
* Comfortable working in a hands-on, low-structure environment
* Utilities experience is a plus
* Proven experience in People / HR transformation programme management
* Strong track record of setting up or leading programme governance and PMO structures
* Experience delivering across at least two of the following:
* Modern / hybrid working initiatives
* Performance management transformation
* EVP development or refresh
* Job levelling / grading / organisational design
* Ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders, including CPO / HR leadership
* Comfortable working with limited structure and building processes from scratch
* Background in utilities or similarly complex, regulated environments is advantageous
