Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our guests. Duties
* Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision and training.
* Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
* Maintain high standards of food production and presentation.
* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
* Develop staff schedules and manage team performance to optimise service efficiency.
* Implement marketing strategies to enhance the restaurant's visibility and attract new customers.
* Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to maintain operational flow.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the restaurant environment.
Skills
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Experience in serving, food production, or barista duties is advantageous.
* A solid understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
