Staff Nurse in Paediatrics

An exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified children's nurse (with at least one year's clinical experience) has arisen to join our team within our children's outpatient's and surgical department. We have a 22.5 hour position available across Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team; providing holistic care to both child and their parents/carers.
Due to expansion of our services we currently have vacancy within our Children's Unit at Doncaster, where we provide care for children and young people from ages 0-16
Main duties of the job
As a member of the nursing team you will deliver a high standard of nursing care based on the theory of family centred care. You will be expected to act as a role model and work with the multidisciplinary team within the division ensuring that a high standard of holistic care is maintained for all children and their families. You are expected to participate in education and will be supported by our education team with your own continued professional development.

Qualifications & Training
* Registered Children's Nurse
* Completion of preceptorship
Knowledge & Experience
* Experience of working with children and families within a health care setting for at least 1 year
* Experience of working with children and young people with developmental delay and/or complex health needs.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Experience of carrying out clinical procedures
* Knowledge of audit process and experience of undertaking audit
Personal Attributes & Skills
* Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills with multidisciplinary team/client/relatives.
* Demonstrate a caring manner with an understanding disposition.
