Maintenance Engineer
Harrogate
Day shift, flexible hours, part time considered
This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical or electrical bias to work to work in a busy manufacturing environment undertaking planned and preventative maintenance of equipment and breakdown repairs. This is daytime shift with flexible or part time hours available we are very keen to hear from experienced engineers who have previously mentored apprentices or someone looking to move away from shift work.
The role
* Undertaking planned and preventative maintenance on a range of automated manufacturing equipment
* Attending breakdowns, undertaking fault finding and repair
* Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors systems, motors, pumps and other mechanical systems
* Fault finding on wiring, control panels and 3 phase motors
* Working with the engineering manager to implement improvements where possible.
* Upgrading and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
* Keeping accurate records of service and maintenance history
* Working with PLC's to identify faults
