Business Support Officer
Your new company
We are looking for 2 Administrators to join an organisations team due to an increase in workload. You will provide a confidential administrative and financial service to staff across the Inclusion and Access Division; and, where necessary to schools.
Your new role
Duties include:
General Admin role:
1. Updating records and database
2. Covering reception- dealing with enquires over the phone and email
3. Liaising with external agencies
4. Ensuring meeting room is prepped for meetings
5. Arranging divisional meetings, distributing meeting papers, attending divisional
meetings, taking and distributing minutes
6. Sending correspondence
7. Liaise with parents/carers, schools, outside agencies and the general public.
Finance Admin:
8. Providing support to the Business Support to managers and staff in the division, in planning, implementing, monitoring and controlling the day-to-day financial operation of the division
9. Providing statements and monthly reconciliations dealing with budget and staffing planning
10. Liaising with other council departments regarding staffing matters, contracts, salaries, financial monitoring, budget planning
11. Administration of council purchase cards within the division.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will have previous admin experience and be highly organised, have attention to detail and not afraid to help with additional tasks
