About the opportunity
We are expanding our team of Cyber Security professionals to work on projects across diverse sectors like Rail, Aviation, Highways, Water, Energy, Power, and Defence. Our focus is on building long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.
We develop solutions to address critical challenges in digitalisation and security, supporting the full spectrum of security engineering activities including design, development, integration, delivery, and in-service support of complex technical projects.
* Full-time employment based on 40 hours per week.
* Hybrid work model from offices in London, Birmingham, Cardiff, York, Leeds, Manchester, or Warrington, with occasional client travel.
* Must have or be able to obtain SC security clearance.
Key responsibilities
* Develop cyber security assessment approaches, security requirements, architecture, and design for complex IT and OT systems.
* Implement security risk management processes and support accreditation activities.
* Conduct security operations including Protective Monitoring, Incident Management, Incident Response, and Security Reviews.
* Assist Business Development and stay informed on relevant legislation and regulations.
Qualifications and experience
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent, with significant cyber security project experience.
* Ability to communicate the benefits of a threat-based, risk-informed security approach.
* Understanding of operational safety and security considerations in design, with experience in security engineering solutions (Endpoint Protection, IDS/IPS, Firewalls) for IT and OT environments, and networking technologies.
* Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as EU NIS Directive, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27000, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, and related guidance.
