GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Sheffield, S10. As a Behaviour Mentor, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional emotional and social support, helping them develop positive behaviours and resilience. As a Behaviour Mentor, your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one or small group mentoring to pupils facing behavioural or emotional difficulties. Implementing behaviour management strategies consistent with school policies. Building trusting relationships to promote pupil engagement and success. Collaborating with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to support individual needs. Monitoring and recording behaviour and progress, providing feedback to relevant staff. To be successful in this role as a Behaviour Mentor, you should: Have experience working with children or young people, ideally with behavioural needs. Be patient, empathetic, and able to remain calm under pressure. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. Provide a full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps over the last 10 years.
