Vehicle Technician Job Description Daily tasks will include processing job cards, carrying out inspections and or repairs as required. Carrying out routing inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance. Reporting faults and documenting, liaising with workshop controller and service reception, and recording works carried out. Our workshop is equipped to carry out Mot tests on classes (phone number removed). Current Mot testers preferred, but not essential. We can provide training to become a Mot tester. Within the workshop we have access to quality diagnostics tooling and technical information to support thorough diagnosis of faults. A competent diagnostic technician is ideal, but someone willing to learn diagnostic techniques would benefit from the training courses we can provide. Skills and Experience * Have a minimum NVQ level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair, or Equivalent. * Have your own tools, specialist tooling and equipment is provided. * A minimum of 4 years workshop experience in the Automotive industry is necessary. * Can work on your own with a good understanding of motor mechanics. * Have a valid full UK car drivers’ licence.
