To meet this growing demand, a newly established AI Practice is expanding and looking for experienced Business Development professionals to help accelerate this growth in 2025. As a Business Development Director, you’ll be part of a team of AI specialists who collaborate closely with client-facing partners to drive AI sales. This is a dynamic and fast-evolving space, requiring a passion for continuous learning, a self-starter attitude, and a creative mindset for solving client challenges. You’ll be involved in both cultivating new opportunities and deepening relationships with existing clients. A growth mindset and team-oriented approach are essential. While you will have a personal sales target, success is measured through team contribution rather than individual commission-based achievements. What You’ll Be Doing: Reporting to the Head of AI Practice, you will be responsible for lead generation, opportunity development, and closing sales. Developing a deep understanding of the organization’s AI offerings, while maintaining awareness of complementary services to identify and refer cross-functional opportunities. Contributing to the evolution of AI service offerings through client feedback and market insights. Building strong client relationships by understanding industry-specific challenges and articulating how solutions address those pain points. Communicating the value of offerings through case studies and examples. Managing the sales process through to contract signing, coordinating with internal delivery teams. Collaborating with external partners and working closely with the internal partnerships team. Staying up-to-date with AI industry trends and ensuring your knowledge evolves alongside the market. Tracking leads and client interactions in CRM tools, primarily Salesforce. Attending relevant conferences and events to grow networks and opportunities. Leveraging your personal network to identify and pursue new leads. Actively contributing to a collaborative AI Practice Community focused on shared learning and insights. What Experience You’ll Bring: Minimum of 6 years in Business Development. At least 1 year of experience selling AI solutions or platforms. Background in selling bespoke software or infrastructure services (product-only sales experience is not sufficient). Industry experience in one or more of the following: Telecommunications, Insurance, Banking, Utilities, Retail, Manufacturing, or Public Sector. Strong understanding of AI trends and their business implications. Ability to apply technology creatively to solve business challenges. Proactive and autonomous work style with entrepreneurial spirit. Strong problem-solving capabilities. Willingness and motivation to deepen expertise in AI. Eligibility for SC clearance is a plus.
